This month we're heading for the hills! The hills of Georgetown that is!
Recently voted the #1 beer festival in Ontario, Head for the Hills is a guaranteed good time rain or shine. Head for the Hills is entirely volunteer-run and benefits local charities. Beer + charity = WIN! Head for the Hills is a day of craft beer & cider sampling, gourmet food, and live music in the beautiful countryside. Come on out and enjoy beer & cider from 35 Ontario Craft Brewers!
Since we know how all you folks hate beer and fun we've sweetened the deal - the festival organizers have kindly extended their Early Bird price of $25! All you need to do is apply the event code “BarleyAngels4” when you purchase your tickets.
BUT HOW DO I GET TO GEORGETOWN? WHERE THE HECK IS GEORGETOWN ANYWAYS??
Here's the awesome part. If we can get 70 people to purchase tickets with the designated Barley’s Angels event code (BarleyAngels4), the organizers will send a bus – just for us! Pickup time would be at 10am from Kipling station, and back again at 7pm. (It’s really, really, riiilllyyyyy important to use the event code – this is how the organizers can track how many of us will be coming.) Invite as many friends as you want and let’s try and hit that target! We are running this as a 19+ co-ed event, so no excuses!
If we don't hit the 70-person mark, we will organize a group on the GO or you're more than welcome to car-pool yourselves there and meet up with us with a beer in hand.
So, come on down to Georgetown and kiss summer goodbye with all of us and fellow beer enthusiasts from all over the damn place!
